School and Pre-School Field Trips

Corn mazes are a fun and interactive experience that have become extremely popular in recent years. People from all over the country enjoy the opportunity to test their mental and physical skills in the maze. Navigating the maze (an 11 acre living puzzle cut into a field of corn) takes team work and determination.

School field trips are scheduled Monday through Friday in October and are by appointment only. Pre-schools will have access to all but the corn maze. But have no worries, there is plenty to entertain this age group at the farm!  The corn maze is recommended for grades 3 and up, as it can take 45 minutes to an hour or more of walking.

We recommend dividing your class into groups of 4 to 6 students with one adult chaperone, and letting the kids read a map to navigate through the twists, turns and dead ends of the Maze. This ensures that each student will have a better opportunity to be a valuable contributing member. Talk to the students in advance about sharing the decision-making or switching the leadership role after each checkpoint.

Once the corn maze is completed the students will take a hayride around the farm to a real pumpkin patch, where they can search through the vines to find the perfect pumpkin, or for younger students, they will take a hayride.

There is a minimum of 25 students to get the school rate. 3 hour time slot.

Food

There is a picnic area for snack or lunch. No food is included. We can accommodate large groups who would like to eat here. You must let us know in advance for the Mighty Joe's Concession stand. Separate fees will apply. Check out our PARTY MENU !
